A ''Climate Fiction'' literary NAYSAYER TWEETED: "Apropos of a recent shallow article I won't link to: "Cli-fi" is a silly term and no writing will "save the world." People who like reading and writing like to think reading and writing will save the world because it is nice to think what we like is good."



 
 
A ''Climate Fiction'' literary NAYSAYER TWEETED: "Apropos of a recent shallow article I won't link to: "Cli-fi" is a silly term and no writing will "save the world." People who like reading and writing like to think reading and writing will save the world because it is nice to think what we like is good."

He was alluding to the very good article by James Sullivan on January 4, 2017 in the Literary Hub, a top literary platform run by people in the book business -- headlined ''CAN SCIENCE FICTION SAVE THE PLANET?" -- and of course the headline writer at Literary Hub was just trying write a sexy eye-catching headline to attract eyeballs when in fact the headline had nothing to do with James Sullivan's article, but naysayers will pick on anything to have their day in the Twitter sun!
