Why does modern Japan still use a flag for its Japan Ground Self-Defense Force that looks very simillar to its World War II fascist Flag of the its Imperial army? Does Germany do the same with Hitlet flags? Can anyone explain?

Why does modern postwar Japan in 2018 still use a flag for its Japan Ground Self-Defense Force that looks very simillar to its World War II fascist Flag of the its Imperial army? Does Germany do the same with Hitlet flags? Can anyone explain? SEE ABOVE!

A Japanese friend of mine, a writer, tells me via Twitter today his feeling about this:

''You’re pointing Rising Sun Flag had been started to use before Fascists got the power during last war decades ago. It’s same with that Germany still continues to uses eagle symbol from its Hitler days. But we Japanese should remember that we invaded Asian countries under those flags.''
