Pretty much all the fiction I’m working on includes climate change, mostly in the background, as part of the world-building. In one novel, a town about 100 miles inland from the coast is hit by a hurricane. Hurricanes have become so large and powerful that they don’t weaken as much as they used to when they travel over land. Later on, in Switzerland, two of the characters are looking at the Alps in the distance, which no longer have any snow on them in the summer.
