JULY 2018. 

Professor Tara Moore, visiting assistant professor of English, presented an academic paper titled

 “Young Adult Cli-Fi and the Risen Sea” 

at the 2018 Children’s Literature Association Conference.   The essay will appear in a collection titled ''Literature at Sea'' (just a working title for now) coming out from Cambridge Scholars Press in 2019.  Ben Robertson is editing this collection of essays.  She mainly looked at YA texts like ''Ship-Breaker,'' ''Legend,'''' Orleans'', and ''Dark Life.''
