The Village Voice, Summer of 2018 lit series: on ''Catching Up With the Next Generation of Cli-Fi Writers''

''Catching Up With the Next Generation of Cli-Fi Writers''

THE REST OF THIS ARTICLE IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION AS THE VILLAGE VOICE IS STILL STUDYING UP ON WHAT CLI-FI IS. MORE IN THE SUMMER OF 2045. MAYBE. FUNNY, BUT WITH ALL THE HATRED OF TRUMP AND HIS ADMINISTRATION AT THE VILLAGE VOICE AND WITH THE SUMMER APPROACHING WITH MANY FLOODS HURRICANES WILDFIRES DROUGHTS HEAT WAVES LIKE THE SUMMER OF 2017, YOU MIGHT THINK THAT THE TRUMP-HATING VILLAGE VOICE EDITORS WHO HATE HIS DENIAL OF CLIMATE CHANGE AS A REAL THING YOU'D THINK THE VOICE EDITORS MIGHT WAKE UP AND ASSIGNED A SEASONED VETERAN REPORTER FOR THE VOICE LIKE LITERARY CRITIC AMY BRADY TO JOIN THIS SUMMER'S CELEBRATION OF THE LITERARY SCENE WITH A BIG PIECE ON CATCHING UP WITH THE NEXT GENERATION OF CLI-FI WRITERS BUT IT SEEMS THE ONLY THING VOICE EDITORS CAN WRAP THEIR TRUMP HATING HEADS AROUND IS A SCI-FI CELEBRATION. WEIRD> THE VILLAGE VOICE NEEDS TO WAKE UP. WHO WILL TAKE THEM UP?

Catching Up With the Next Generation of Cli-Fi Writers
‘It's a community that attracts Catholics, Jews, atheists, physicists, and not a few political and cultural debates. One thing is for sure: it's not sci-fi.’
