Hey @UniversalPics, let's reboot 'Waterworld' but get it right this time and let me write the script (on spec). You were way ahead of the curve making the first cli-fi film (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Climate_fiction …), but it ended up being a dumb action movie.

   ...no Kevin Costner, no known stars at all, like what Ridley Scott did with the original 'Alien' unknown, excellent actors. And let's treat the subject (climate change) in a manner that reflects the threat. That's not "action-adventure"...

   ...that's suspenseful drama, with some action scenes, like in 'The Revenant'. I mean c'mon, you're rebooting every other thing, nearly all of it is lame (and not making any money). A gloomy AF Waterworld reboot *done right* would be fun.
