My review on Amazon for Bill McKibben's new cli-fi comic caper novel RADIO FREE VERMONT
''A comic "cli-fi lite" caper of a novel that showcases Bill McKibben's sly humour and sense of the absurd. Taking off his climate activist hat and putting on his American humorist hat, with shades of Mark Twain and Garrison Keillor, this debut novel puts McKibben in a new orbit. Think Edward Abbey and "The Monkey Wrench Gang" and Lake Wobegon stories right in the heart of Vermont. Bill shows a side of himself we need to see more of. He predicted this novel in an essay in Grist in 2005. Now it has come home. I foresee an Ang Lee movie of this book a la "Taking Woodstock" with nostalgic soundtrack!''
